Agreement

By downloading, installing, or using SpeechDeck ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, don't use the App.

What SpeechDeck does

SpeechDeck is a flashcard app for iOS designed for speech and language practice. It presents real-photo cards with matched audio and labels, supports an identification mode, lets you log responses (Correct, Incorrect, Cued), tracks per-student accuracy over time, and generates PDF/CSV summaries on-device. It is a practice and data-collection tool — it is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or provide clinical advice.

License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on any Apple device you own or control, subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. Licenses purchased in volume through Apple School Manager or Apple Business Manager are governed by the applicable Apple program terms.

Your content and your students' data

You are responsible for the content you add to the App (custom photos, recordings, labels) and for the student information you enter. You must have the right to use any photo or audio you import, and you are responsible for obtaining any consent required by your school, clinic, or local law before entering information about a child. The App stores this data only on your device; it does not host or transmit it on your behalf.

Purchases and pricing

SpeechDeck offers a free Lite version with a limited set of cards and a one-time purchase to unlock the full title. All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and refund policies.

• The full version is a one-time, non-consumable purchase — you pay once and it is yours permanently.
• There are no subscriptions or recurring charges.
• Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policy.

Not clinical advice

SpeechDeck is a practice and documentation tool for use by qualified professionals, educators, and parents. It does not provide diagnosis, treatment, or professional advice, and it is not a substitute for the judgment of a licensed speech-language pathologist. Clinical decisions remain entirely yours.

Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, or profits, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App.

Prohibited uses

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose

Apple's terms

Your use of the App is also subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and the Usage Rules set forth therein. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Apple's terms, Apple's terms shall govern to the extent of the conflict.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
